The history of Zorn Brew Works spans over 150 years. It was originally open from 1871 to 1938, then reopened in 2017. The Excelsior Cycle Company operated a major bicycle manufacturing and assembly plant in Michigan City, Indiana, from 1916 through the mid-1950s.
